"Some minor issues with hot tub not being hot and fans and AC not working in the room but otherwise the stay was improved by a room upgrade and free breakfast voucher. Room service was ok, if you could reach them to place an order. However the Shrimp cocktail smelled like bad fish. It seemed like they only had one person managing every call and then had to prepare the meal and then had to deliver it. She was working so hard, but this falls on managements failure to properly staff the room service crew. I keep going back for more. "

"The hotel has become dated. Furnishings in lobby are nearly tattered. Stained. Upper hallways are nice. Bedroom was austere. No dust ruffle. Only sheets. Thin blanket. Had to call for towels. We had two bath towels two hand towels. One circle soap. One shampoo and conditioner. Coffee pods- 2. Never replaced. Vinyl floors not cleaned under the bed. Crumbs and fuzzies. TV only had Samsung Channels. Restaurant had 2 staff members. We had reservations but left to eat off the property. Pool was nice. Pool bar also understaffed. The pools were nice. Used Embassy Suite pools as well which were very well staffed and well maintained. "

"My room was never cleaned as requested. It took me 5x calling and an entire day to receive towels. However, the front desk service was excellent."

"First I would like to say this is not a bad review. However I will point out some things that need some improvement. I have been traveling to Myrtle Beach for many years and sometimes it's a hit and miss. The hotel and resort provided everything stated in the listing and the staff was absolutely wonderful. They were very kind and professional. The pool and hot tubs were very adequate. The lobby and restaurants were also nice. However if you have more discerning taste, this property may not be for you. I'm sure that there are many great rooms and suites but unfortunately we did not get one of them. I was told that rooms are picked as people arrive; so it's often a hit and miss on what you will receive. I would describe my room as tight in regards to the kitchen, bathroom and seating area. However there was enough space for the bedroom. The sheets were not clean, but the front desk had new sheets delivered promptly. There were a few holes in the bedroom door, rusty areas and loose coverings. Also, one of the stove eyes didn't work and sliding door handle was loose. The aracade needs to be closed until the games are serviced. Overall I felt safe, but I prefer a little more comfort. I would visit again if I was able to pick my room or suite."

"The view of the beach was absolutely fantastic! We are already booking our next stay. If you are staying for the first time the after hours check-in could have been communicated better, but overall we loved our experience and the onsite pizza restaurant and ice cream are delicious! "
