"We loved our stay in the hotel. The proximity to two train stations and to all the restaurants on High Street made it an ideal location. The breakfast and evenings at the bar were really comfortable and generous, the staff was perfect. DIY check in and check out, though less than appealing, is the way most hotels are working these days. "

"Huge family room, large bathroom with two sinks, handy for kids. Really good staff, everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Loved the pool, large linge and breakfast options."

"A well supported establishment by locals. Its too far from the sea front for tourist to come and find. But easily within 10 minutes for you to walk down to the promenade. Or a couple of minutes further for you to walk straight along the road into the centre of town where the shops are. Everything in the room worked, there was a full sized fridge if you needed to use it. Decent supply of tea and coffee. The room could do with a bit of a freshen up , But its a very old building, your never going to make it look like a premier inn. Locals were friendly. Ample size flat carpark with Cameras. You can use carpark for overnight camper stops for free if you use the pub. Lovely large Beer garden. Entertainment on some weekends on the stage outside. There is a large covered area, just in case. Childs play are too. Young lad behind bar with a beard was particularly helpful O and the home made steak and ale pie was excellent. A proper pie, not a tin with a lid on."

"Really enjoyed staying here - I booked the cheapest room and it was still immaculate and really nice to be in. Staff really friendly, breakfast lovely and the pub by the sea is a great bonus. Good location - walked from the train station in 20 minutes."
