"Woke up at Anchorage Inn and Resort to the most unreal sunrise 🌅 Stayed in a “traveling with a friend” room — super cute and cozy, but honestly the view stole the show. You can literally watch the sunrise from bed, then run right across to the beach for a cold dip if you’re brave enough ❄️🌊 It’s winter so we didn’t get to use the outdoor pool or check out the upper deck, but it looks like it would be amazing in warmer months. Staff was really friendly and welcoming. Only odd thing—the pillows were kind of weird, like little bunched-up balls, so not the comfiest sleep. Fair warning—this is VERY much a family-focused spot. The indoor pool and hot tub area was packed, tons of kids running around, and it felt pretty small. There is a bar right by the pool which is a nice touch, but overall it wasn’t really the vibe for a relaxing girls’ getaway, and we probably wouldn’t return for that kind of trip."

"This ended up being the perfect place to host our annual friends' get together for the holidays. It's always great to be able to get everyone together, and when we initially didn't have a place to host it this year, this was the solution that saved the day. As a good sized group of friends in our 20s, we were a little concerned about whether we would disturb the neighbors given that the property is shared with the owner, but the rental doesn't share a wall with the main house and though there was about 20 of us hanging out and talking and playing games, there were no issues with our volume, so as long as you don't plan to blast music or go crazy, this is a great spot to get together and spend time with friends or family if you have a larger group than most places could accommodate.There was lots of space and seating, an oven and nice kitchen for final food prep, and the place was well stocked with any essentials. Though only 8 of us ended up spending the night, the many beds were great for having the option for people to stay if they needed to.Many thanks to the hosts for allowing us a place to keep our holiday tradition going, it was a wonderful night and we're grateful for the memories we made here."

"We had a fantastic weekend getaway. This is a great house, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Close to everything, we joked that the house should be renamed the 9-minute house. It seems every time we went out to shop or eat and punched in the destination to GPS, every place was 9 minutes away! Great location, and super communication with the homeowner and caretaker. We would definitely stay here again."
