"Close to everything! We walked to old Port and basilica as well as other places. Yes there is a homeless shelter near by but they don’t bother you and not much hotel can do. Hotel does offer a bigger breakfast , simple and doable but usually skipped breakfast and went for lunch/dinner near by. No complaints. "

"Staff were polite & helpful. Our room was quite clean & was cleaned each day. No carpet in the rooms ( or at least in ours) which is better for allergy sufferers. Despite some obvious renovations over the years i.e. bathroom fixtures etc. the building needs some tlc. In our room at least there were a few spots of paint peeling in the bathroom. "
