"We have a very large family, with lots of children. This property was great for us. The individual cabins meant that each family was able to have private space to manage nap schedules and take breaks. The green space was the site of many games of capture the flag or tag. The central "lodge" provided good gathering space for the full group. Since we do most of our own cooking, we appreciated the large double refrigerators. The kitchen was well-equipped. The property is not perfect--there are small things that could be fixed. However, when we did have issues, the property management team was prompt in their response. In fact, communication was a highlight, and the team did appear focused on making sure that our stay was comfortable. Unlike some properties, there was an adequate supply of basics like toilet paper and paper towels (not a "starter pack"--enough to get us through the week-long stay). The property served as a good "home base for lots of lake time and exploring in the surrounding mountain canyons. The location of the property allowed for lots of walks through quiet neighborhoods. So, if you have a large group--we would strongly recommend a stay!"

"We had a great stay at the Dinosaur Cabin! Our family of five stayed here for our first trip to Bear Lake, and it was perfect for us. Everything felt new, clean, and well taken care of, and our kids loved the bunk setup.The location was great too! We loved being so close to North Beach, and it was only about 20 minutes from Garden City and all the activities. It was nice to be close to everything while still being away from the crowds.I also appreciated the communication throughout our stay. They checked in to make sure everything was going well and were always quick to respond. You can tell they care about their guests and want you to have a great stay. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The place is a lot smaller than we anticipated. However, it was very clean and comfortable. They had towels for the shower, cups and utensils, and a coffee maker! The AC seemed to have a mind of its own and didn’t really stay set to what we wanted, (could just be user error) and the front door kept getting stuck when trying to open it, which resulted in my son hurting his toe. I am sure that’s an easy fix tho!It’s amazing that pets are welcome! Our dog loved it! All of the people staying nearby were friendly and the grounds were clean and well kept. Also very close to North Beach which is awesome!We weren’t able to use the fire pit due to fire restrictions but if we could have I imagine it would have been pretty crowded with that many cabins/people. Which if you’re gonna make s’mores with kids, having a ton of people around the fire might make that tricky. The grill worked great and there are tables there where you can sit and eat with your family. All in all, I felt it was a little pricey only because of how small of a space it is & the amenities were limited unless you stayed in the large cabin which was booked. If it hadn’t been for raspberry days and most places being booked already, we would have found somewhere cheaper with more accommodations. But this was actually really great in a pinch!!I would suggest getting cancelation insurance because I actually needed to cancel this booking the very next day after my booking and I was told I’d only get a 50% refund."
