"Came for UT orientation. Easy access off Hwy 35 and straight shot to campus. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was good. Room was cleaned and property was well maintained. Only down fall the bed was a little too firm for my taste. But that is my opinion. Will stay here again to visit."

"Everything was clean and nice. Our room view was great. The pool and area didn’t disappoint. Pool closes at 10; so that could be later. The food we ordered poolside was surprisingly good. However, the rooftop restaurant, we found was only open thur-sat. Lastly, if you get their complimentary toothpaste, you won’t be able to open it without a scissor; we used our nail clipper. Overall, we had a great time, hotel was in a good and lively part of downtown, the views were beautiful, and the rooms were spacious and clean."

"This property was amazing to stay at! The full kitchen with a washer and dryer was amazing! The staff was super helpful! All of them, honestly. I really liked the parking garage and how the attendants in the parking garage were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place and can go on forever on how amazing this property was! In the middle of everything too!!"

"Hotel Van Zandt was great! All aspects of the hotel are fantastic. The cafe was a great spot in the morning for coffee and breakfast tacos. The bar was lively in the evenings. The restaurant was good. The pool was really nice and the gym was better than most hotels. My room was also very nice. Will stay again for sure."
