"Fantastic location in Manly with great amenities nearby! I recently stayed at The Sebel in Manly and had a wonderful time. The property is in a truly prime location! Just a heads-up for future travelers: the hotel sits right behind The Peppers, so you don't get a direct view of the ocean from your room. However, the beach is only a few minutes' walk away, where you can take in the beautiful sea views. The surrounding area is incredibly convenient. The main road is lined with plenty of great eateries and pubs. I highly recommend trying the in-house restaurant at The Peppers next door—the food there is absolutely delicious and very affordable! It does get quite busy at dinner time, so it's a good idea to book a table in advance. If you're visiting over the weekend, the Saturday Markets are just a short walk away and definitely worth checking out. A few quick tips on getting here and parking: • By Ferry: If you're taking the Sydney Ferry to Manly, it’s an easy, flat walk to the hotel that takes less than 10 minutes. • By Car: There is no free parking available. Street parking is all metered, or you can use the hotel's secure car park for around $40. Overall, it's a brilliant base for exploring Manly, and I would definitely stay here again!"

"Very family friendly, especially if for young children. Great range of books and games in the cupboards upstairs.Only one bathroom did cause a few issues with 6 adults. Oven was practically unusable, fan function did not work and neither did the grill. It took ages to preheat on convection and is very old and not clean.The beds were quite comfortable, pillows very comfy. Shower very powerful - as were all the water outlets. Shower does let water out so make sure you have a towel and mat down each time it’s used as floor is extremely slippy when wet.Laundry facilities good, all simple to use.Stairs up to apartment were slippery when wet - take care.Kitchen was well stocked but crockery had all seen better days.Fabulous location but even with a parking permit be prepared to walk some distance to find a parking spot. Overall a very dated accommodation that was surface clean, convenient location and comfortable."

Upon check-in I was assisted with my luggage up the stairs, the cleaner is on super top of all the amenities, the communal lounge was warm and cozy during a particularly cold winter visit, and public transport is a 2 minute walk away. "Old building but very convenient to all transportation, beaches,shops and restaurants.Awesome view from the balcony, but unit did not have air conditioning or screens. Windows & doors were open always, so "bird watch" was necessary to avoid cockatoos from flying in thru the balcony. Apartment was somewhat dated throughout, but was clean & comfortable for 2 people. Kitchen is not designed for cooking as fridge is very small with no freezer for ice. Was quite adequate for a married couple since bathroom facilities were only accessible thru the bedroom. Apartment has 8 steps to reach the front entrance and 8 more steps to get from the bedroom to the upstairs living area, so not appropriate for someone with mobility issues. Not fancy but we loved the view & location so we would stay again. Thanks for having us."
