"We stayed for one night after completing the Golden Circle route. Room was great, loved the door to the outside in the room. The breakfast was great! Lots of variety! The only thing we did not like is that every other room had outside patio furniture except for us...not sure why, but would have liked that. Also, just to know there are a lot of flies outside, but it's do-able."

"We liked the layout of our room. It had sliding doors for more privacy for the double bed. Two single beds were in the main space with a desk and coat rack. The dining area overlooks the lake. Staff were friendly. "

"We enjoyed our stay here. It was centrally located for the various sites we wanted to see during our brief stopover in Iceland. The cabins were charming. We would have liked to have had blackout curtains in the living room and not just the bedroom, but everything was clean and comfortable. The workers were friendly; we'd recommend staying here."

"We were able to tour both the national park and the southern coast conveniently without having to move between lodgings. The cabin is pretty new, has a nice view of the mountains, and a hot tub and grill on a pretty deck (though the midges require a head net that the host graciously provided for us). The kitchenette was adequate for us since we weren’t cooking anything more than breakfast. The upstairs bedroom with twin beds would be a great spot for a couple of kids who find it fun to climb up a ladder into a cosy nest. There is a smaller cabin connected by the deck with a second double bed and half bath—a nice arrangement when two couples are traveling together and appreciate their own space. I can’t praise the hosts enough. They communicated well, addressed every need requested and even anticipated others. I recommend checking it out, especially if you’re touring both the golden circle and southern coast and want to come home to a quiet place away from the summer tourist crowds. "

"This truly is a “luxury modern home.” It has all the amenities in a clean, comfortable, stylish home set on a hillside with beautiful views.This house is the place to stay! The hosts are incredible! We had a complication due to a flight cancellation and they were so accommodating. They were kind, understanding, and quick to respond and help us find a solution. They saved us from being homelessness for a night! Really grateful!"

"The room was pristine, area is quiet and isolated. Great value for a spacious room. Only issue were the gnats, which can be a problem all over Iceland, just need bug spray outside."
