"Loved my room the breakfast was great the gentleman that does breakfast was amazing and very sweet however, the front desk staff when you could find them was it exactly warm and eager to help and the pool was out of order that was quite disappointing. Very affordable hotel. It’s too bad because with just a few tweaks, that would be my first choice and a place to stay when I’m on the road for work."

"Pros: The cost for what you get is excellent. An entire house both near the water and accessible to the small downtown area. Quiet neighborhood. Although no driveway, we were able to get parking directly in front every time. It's an old house but well kept with a modern enough kitchen and central air that worked great. A big bed and having laundry was a nice bonus too. Cons: The home could have been a little cleaner (some dust, cobwebs), especially the shower which also drained very slowly until we put a liquid plumber type of product in it. Some of the seasonings / condiments in the cupboard were expired. Overall, a positive experience, good value for the money. If it were a little cleaner it'd be perfect. I would recommend."

"Loved the house! Lots of old thick dark wood. Pocket doors...my favorite. Bedrooms adequate. One was the maids quarters...simple but full bath right outside the door. Master with full bath, another room with toilet and sink and 4th room shared hall bath. Location excellent! We were able to walk everywhere! River across the street with nice walking path.Host was readily available, house was very clean. Kitchen was older but adequate. Would not plan on making a big gourmet meal in it. had a microwave and 2 burner top. No oven. we weren't planning on cooking anyway.We were 5 ladies who went to college together and met up in Marietta. Marietta is very historical. Don't miss the trolley tour. Very informative. We also enjoyed a riverboat ride listening to a strings concert. Lots of things to do for a first timer.One bad thing about Marietta....nothing is open on Sunday, including restaurants in downtown area."
