"Didn’t like my vehicle was parked in a garage across the street, for a disabled person with limited walking capability, this was extra walking they should have less loading & unloading parking and make Handicap for the grandparents that come with the kids, also could have closer beach foot walking, the breakfast door should be available for the disabled person to have closer access to the Beach or make a hallway available from the elevators, I do think the teenagers had a lot of fun at this location lots of activities and swimming options,"

"The ocean view from the hotel is good. Beach is good but saw mold in the bathtub which I reported to the hotel front desk manager and they send someone to clean it but still they couldn't clean it properly. Bathroom space is also cramped. They have good space near sink and room overall space, could have better designed or planned the bathroom space."

Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island

"The location is good. It’s family friendly. The room could have been better. There was a smell in the bathroom, the water pressure made it hard to wash off in the shower, and there was a mold smell coming from the ac vent. We stayed at the pool one day due to too much wind on the beach and we had a difficult time getting food at the pool in the afternoon. Overall I would probably find somewhere else to stay if we were to return."

Shell Island Resort - All Oceanfront Suites

6/10 Okay

"Bar and restaurant were open for brunch short staffed. King size bed mattress was hard and lumpy needs to be changed out. Rooms only cleaned upon request. The beach view was fantastic. It's the first week of June. Gotta drive in town to find a place to eat. Island closed down at 10 o'clock usually. I guess it was too early in June"

"The property is well situated in the central business district of Charleston across from a large & lovely park. My wife & I stayed for 4 nights. Parking in the area is scarce & expensive, so valet parking fees are a challenging but very convenient. Our room was not as pictured by Expedia, however, the hotel manager graciously moved us to one which was as pictured. The maid service was good aside from one day when there was a towel & coffee shortage when we returned in the evening, though that was easily rectified by calling the desk. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating."
