"Very welcoming and friendly. Superb food and wonderful view from the dining area. No deer on show for us just a badger strolling down the road. As others have said either route to the hotel is challenging if you are not a confident driver but well worth it. If you want modern and pristine this is not the place for you but it is clearly a labour of love for the couple that run it and we loved it."

"Stayed in a twin room which came with a sink and shared bathroom facilities. Lovely location. The staff were very friendly and there was lots of information on local walking routes. Well stocked shop and a nice simple breakfast which we hadn't expected."

"Very lovely stay in the pod. It was clean and cozy and comfortable. We did not receive the instructions for how to check in but contacted the host and solved the problem. It was stressful because there is very little internet access in that area. The beautiful beach is a short walk away."

"The cottage was absolutely superb. It was like a tardis. Looked really small from the outside but was plenty of room on the inside. Garden was kept immaculately tidy. It's at least a 10 - 15 minute drive from the shops at Lairg but if you're looking for a quiet spot to relax then it's perfect for you. The house had everything we needed. Prepare for midges with plenty smidge spray or even a net if you want to go out and enjoy the area. Some days they weren't about, most they weren't too bad but the morning we left they were terrible. Myself, partner, 3 kids and 2 dogs loved it. We will be back."
