"The room was fine with a comfortable bed. The one real thing that bothered me was a safety issue. The outside door that requires your key card leading into the area where the rooms were was broken and would not close properly. Being a single traveler and not knowing the area left me feeling a little uneasy knowing that anyone could come in off the street and no one would know they were there."

"I love this retro motel! The owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and well maintained. "This lodge was the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting the Coldwater/Protection area. The hosts were very welcoming, and I enjoyed getting to meet one of them. The lodge was cozy, and we enjoyed making dinner there and sitting around the table. Not having a TV was surprisingly refreshing :) and it gave us wonderful time to visit and play games! Our family enjoyed exploring outside too, and we saw a few different critters too. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to be back!"
