Empire Hotel

Empire Hotel

8/10 Good
"Great location, and the staff was friendly overall. However, one older individual working at the front desk had a bit of an attitude. The rest of the staff was very friendly. The hotel definitely needs some renovations, as it was a bit janky, but we still enjoyed our stay, mainly because of the location."

New York Marriott Marquis

10/10 Excellent
"This is my second time staying at the Marriott Marquis Times Square. I love that the hotel is centrally located. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was nice and clean. The only complaint I have is the lack of a microwave. My friend and I had lots of leftovers and no way to warm them up. We took advantage of eating at the restaurant Revel & Rye on the premises and it was amazing food (especially the breakfast sandwich). Levain bakery is one of my many stops I love going to when I’m in the city, So I was excited to see that there’s a Levain bakery inside the hotel. I got my cookie fix almost every day. I had an overall great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you love being in the center of all the action Times Square has to offer. I will definitely be booking again for my yearly trip to NYC."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New York City Central Park

10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast was quite good, different every day over a four night stay, and staff kept it fresh and stocked. Room was small, but adequate. Staff were ALL friendly/helpful. Maintenance: Shower floor was old with a soft spot. Shower curtain inadequate and water would collect on the floor outside of it, requiring use of an extra towel. Toilet would run intermittently, unless the handle was handled with care. Dimmer switch would always turn on randomly, so covered it with a post it - I recommend ditching the motion sensors altogether. Otherwise, terrific stay for the value!"
