"Staff are fantastic. Bike rentals were included, it was extra if you wanted a moped. Rooms were comfy but there were mosquitoes; wearing bug repellent prevented me getting eaten alive! The included breakfast was delicious. Nice and quiet spot a little ways from the busier downtown, taking a bike into town was nice. Thanks for having us!"

"This was my first homestay and I was not sure what to expect. The family really looked after me and made me feel right at home, I loved spending time here and found it a quick 5 minute walk to the Main Street of food places and cafes in the town. "

"Perfect location to visit all the tourist attractions in the area; I recommend hiring a bicycle from the homestay and cycling to each one, it is all relatively flat. Lovely owners, amazing views of the mountains from the bedrooms. Property is kept clean. "

"Beautiful location! Borrow and bike and explore!"

"Phenomenal service, cleanliness, location, amenities. Phuong is amazing she helped us with every detail. Transportation,bookings. I could go on and on. The rooms are completely private, the only shared area is the breakfast dinner area and around the pool. I highly recommend renting there bikes and riding to local attractions. The most epic place you’ll ride a bike. "

"The view is actually crazy! It’s like a postcard. The staff are helpful & the place is beautiful, and clean. Almost like a villa style. Free breakfast is beautiful especially paired with their ginger tea. The sunrise from the pool is Magic!"

"Staff are super nice and there’s Free bikes to use. You can bike to hang mua and even bich dong pagoda. Wish there was a safe box. Plus the sink clogged a lot where we had to manual unclog it and we could hear rats or some rodent in the walls at night which woke me up at night. "

"Right by the busy street but a 5 minute walk and so quite around the property. The staff were also really helpful and would go out of their way to help you."

"Our stay could have been worse and maybe a different room would have been better but we were really unhappy with the room and location. Although situated close to the Hang Mua walk (about a 5 minute walk), the road it’s self left much to be desired. Maybe it didn’t help that we arrived at night, but the street was deserted with no street lamps and only 2 places to eat including an overpriced pizza place. "The hotel was really nice and the staff/service were excellent. They're very accommodating to our requests, and family friendly. The breakfast was good and the atmosphere takes you away from the busy city life since it makes you feel secluded and away from the city eventhough you're not."

"There is a young man there named DAT. This guy is probably the best I have encountered in Vietnam. The hotel is on a rice field and gave me everything I dreamed of in Ninh Binh. If Dat were in the U.S, he would be capable of running any size hotel. GET ON A PLANE AND GO SEE HIM. Chez Cao NINH BINH"

"My family and I stayed 4 days, throughout the entire stay the staff was extremely hospitable! The whole experience was amazing and the scenery was breathtaking! The hotel was in a great location, it was just about 10 mins outside of the city but with a grab or moped easily accessible. I recommend this place 100% for your stay in Ninh Bihn! I loved everything about this stay!"

"This may be one of our favorite properties in our honeymoon. It is newer so the gym was not yet ready but that was okay. The pool was so relaxing! They have dining on the property but since it was slow season it wasn’t a buffet breakfast like advertise, again not that big of deal. Highly recommend renting bikes for free from them and just heading into the city to eat! Also they do take you on golf carts to the city for free also! Very very nice resort "

"A lovely hotel only 300m from the main street of the villageTam Coc, but at the middle of a rice plantation. Be sure to get a room with views! Very good breakfast and refreshing beatiful covered pool. A great base to visit this special area: walking distance from Tam Coc boats and a few minutes by taxi or bike to the other attractions. Great service. Thank you!"

"Tam Coc Retreat is a fantastic hotel in Ninh Binh with a resort atmosphere and away from the busy area, but still close to Tam Coc town. The resort is surrounded by beautiful mountains and you can borrow a bike for free to explore the area at your own pace. Great breakfast buffet and restaurant with local and western options. "
