"We stumbled onto the Artist’s Residence, and fell in love with it. There room s are so cozy and so artfully designed and decorated. The staff was wonderful. They helped in any way they could. The pub is from another era, a wonderful era. The food is great. The other customers were friendly and interesting. Next time we are anywhere near the area, we’re going to be staying there."

"The pub is lovely. Great atmosphere. The room was beautiful and smelt amazing as we entered. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very modern but in keeping with the pub. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and breakfast was excellent. Would definitely return."

"We stayed here a couple of years ago in the winter time and always said we would like to try it in the summer months. Really didn't disappoint at all. Good food, drinks and staff, plus clean well maintained rooms..excellent and i would certainly recommend anyone to stay just for the breakfast in the morning... we'll be back someday again.."
