"All I can say the best for us about this property was the location for the price, the customer service was excellent, breakfast was very good, the only downside is that the weather was very humid and we don’t like that every time we go out from the room, we have to remove the key and when we return it was way to hot and humid in the room, it takes a while to cool down."

"We had a fabulous couple of days at Hotel Du Lac. Best location in the heart of old town with beautiful views of the Cathedral. Special thanks to the breakfast chef. We have stayed in many good hotels across Vietnam but rate breakfasts here as one of the best. From freshly carved Jamon to beautiful yoghurt, fruits and Eggs Hollandaise everything was delicious and good quality. The staff are so nice and friendly - we went to a hidden Pho restaurant popular with locals and bypassing the Insta fads with queues snaking down the street. A beautiful facial at La Maison the inhouse spa rounded off a perfect visit. Highly recommended hotel."
