Came to Texas City Quality Inn because my husband and I were going on a cruise out of Galveston. This area was close enough tot he port and not as pricy as Galveston Island. Check in was a breeze and lady at front was nice.

I do not like the room smells bad and the staff did not helping to switch the room. I like the hotel can walk to a restaurant to eat right next to the parking lot. I would not return to this hotel for sure.

Shasa, Mary & John were fantastic, kind, & talked with ya. They made us feel at home. Hotel clean, quiet & nice. Parking very easy.

We’ve stayed at this hotel twice in the past 2 years. Both times the staff was great and the rooms were clean. However; the first time the AC drain had backed up and flooded the floor. The staff was quick to send someone with a wet vac to clean it up as best as they could. The second time it was humid in the room and the air freshener used was so strong that it was hard to breathe. Other than those issues this hotel is great. Easy on and off from I45.

PROs- Beds were comfortable. Got good sleep. Very convenient. CONs- room needed repairs. Holes in ceiling and walls. Areas repaired, but unpainted. Musty smell lingered. ?? if would stay again.
