"We enjoyed a tranquil 4 days at the Villas de Trancoso, taking long walks on the beach, eating and drinking well, and stargazing from the hotel grounds. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind, and made good recommendations for restaurants in town. They organized all of our ground transportation as well."

"I stayed at Recanto do Arraial for three nights, and I loved my stay! Jaque and the rest of the team, and the pousado's peaceful and beautiful setting, made my stay one to remember. Whether you want to chill poolside at pousado or head into town to visit the restaurants, shops and bars (all nearby, easily walkable, and safe), you couldn't choose a better place to stay in Arraial d'Ajuda. I'm planning to be back in Porto Seguro next year, and I'll definitely stay here again, hopefully next time...

The rooms are gorgeous, a combination of rusticity and luxury, the surrounding nature is amazing, breakfast was delicious and varied, drinks by the pool were heavenly. The village square is a short walk from the hotel and every restaurant is excellent. We only wish we had more time to try them all. Trancoso is unlike anywhere I’ve ever been and this hotel captures its essence perfectly."
