"Room was clean and ac worked great. Lobby was hot seemed to have AC issue there only but staff handled it well. Breakfast was ok. They comped service fee due to computer issues so overall would stay again."

"The beds were great and we slept well. But the overall hotel was run down. The bathroom sink only provided hot water, too hot to touch most of the time and brushing teeth was a task. The elevator was slow, we took the stairs most of the time. We registered for 4 and the room was only prepared for two, we had to get bedding for the sofa sleeper and extra towels. The lady who checked us in was harsh and breakfast was pulled at 10 on the dot, even on the weekends. Overall, all we didn’t feel especially welcome."

"Stayed 3 nights at the Hilton Galveston and left underwhelmed. Traveling with a crawling baby, cleanliness is non-negotiable for us and the floors were clearly not properly mopped. I ended up mopping the room myself, which is not what you expect at a Hilton-priced property. The in-room phone didn’t work, so housekeeping requests had to go through a text number that went unanswered for hours. To make matters worse, housekeeping won’t clean your room or restock essentials unless you explicitly request it something we weren’t told upfront. This was my first Hilton stay and, unfortunately, likely my last. I wouldn’t recommend this property, especially for families with young children."

"The place is a little run down. The bed sucks, it’s an old spring mattress. I can’t remember the last time I slept on one but it hurt my back. The breakfast is bad and low quality. The key cards are absolutely terrible, had to get them reactivated multiple times. I would definitely not stay here again."
