"We stayed for one night for my husband’s birthday. The property is quite dated and in need of renovation. The air conditioner didn’t work, leaving the room very cold. Once we contacted management, they sent someone to fix it. We were excited to use the pool and jacuzzi; however, there was no indoor kids' pool, and both the water and the surrounding area were too cold for toddlers and adults alike. Other guests were expressing the same concerns. I am unsure if the restaurants are managed by the hotel or operated independently, but the food quality was poor. At the Italian restaurant (Azzurro), our food arrived very late. They brought our toddler’s meal last, and it was cold. After an hour of waiting for our polenta chips, we were informed they had 'dissolved in the oil.' They did offer us a complimentary tiramisu as an apology. The cheese plater was good from Sublime but kids cheese burger was low quality not recommended. On a positive note, the lobby was clean with good facilities, and the cinema was well maintained. The kids' playground was modern and useful. Other amenities including ice skating, the motorboats, the big slide, and the Kidz Zone are available for an extra charge. The outdoor area was nice and tidy. Overall, it is a family-friendly property."

"The house was clean, the gas BBQ wasn’t clean enough for us to use. The information online said there was a spa whirlpool, which we wanted, however there wasn’t one. This must have been an error on the advert. The kitchen was very well equipped, and had everything we needed."

"Our stay at Azimuth was excellent. We were two families with people from 8-60 and felt as though we had plenty of space and things to do. The house is beautifully maintained and had a number of extra inclusions that made the stay easier. Not too far from local sites and for us Katoomba Christian Convention. "

"We loved our stay. Having three kids, they enjoyed the range of activities available (play equipment outside, toys/games inside). Beds were comfy and the house was very clean. Only downside was the wood fire was out of action but other heating was available."

"A really lovely house and garden. Particularly liked the formal lounge and the open gas fire. The north facing deck is a bonus with its comfortable furniture and serene views. Pantry items were appreciated, however, we would have liked some cereal bowls. As it is very cold in winter in Wenty Falls we thought the bed needed a more appropriate doona. Adding the two additional blankets provided was not ideal. TV instructions were confusing until we realised it was all internet provided. Enjoyed the location and close proximity to lookouts and walks."
