"The house is part of a medium size area with several other small apartments. It is a very secure area and the owner and his grandson live on site in 2 of the apartments. It was very convenient if you could needed anything. It was also nice to have secure parking spot. Mondo Cafe is also connected and the kids who work there were so nice and the food was great! "We found the house and patio to be lovely, with gorgeous plants and trees. The house was spacious and filled with beautiful furniture and art. The bedrooms were also spacious and comfortable, each with its own bathroom. Angela and Eduardo were gracious and wonderful hosts. The location was perfect, as we could walk to restaurants and a market close by. We also were able to walk easily into town through the gorgeous historic area."

"GREAT location. About 20 min from airport and maybe 10 minute walk to Zocalo and to Benito Juarez and 20 November markets. Sleeping rooms were very comfortable and clean. We were a family of 7 with 4 women and 3 guys. The bathrooms were fine with individual showers and toilets. Enjoyed the inside courtyard in the evenings and the 2nd floor terrace in the mornings. Enjoyed the dining room a couple of evenings when too tired and did carry out from restaurants close by. LOVED the adjacent coffee...

"This is a lovely house in the Reforma District. We were on Oaxaca for a week and this was an ideal base from which to explore the city without staying in the more tourist-centic Cenrto, which itself is an easy walk away. The hosts welcomed us in to show us around and give us the keys. As two friends sharing there was plenty of room with a double bed and toilet each. The outside patio was great for having an early coffee or an evening beer! Highly recommended if you want to spend a relaxing time...

"Great ample compound., very quiet but close to everything. Lush trees, great pool. The homes themselves were not particularly special, but are clean and functional. Very limited kitchen utensils, in case you want to cook there. Check in experience was ok, but the local caretaker hours are limited. Overall a good experience!"

"Ming was there to welcome us, and introduce her housekeeper Socorro who proved to be a very delightful, accommodating person. Fortunately, our group spoke enough Spanish collectively to get along with Socorro. The breakfasts and a couple of dinners were very well prepared. Overall, we were satisfied with the Holiday House. The location in San Felipe de Agua was further away from the downtown area than we anticipated. It took 20-30 minutes to travel to Zocalo, and taxis cost more like 100 pesos...

"We had the best stay at Casa Crespo! Everything was pristinely clean, centrally located for easy walking access, and Gene could not have been a more responsive and helpful host. I highly recommend staying at Casa Crespo when in Oaxaca! Thank you Gene!"

"We had a great stay at Jorges place. We stayed there for 4 nights with my family, brother in law and his friend. The house met all the expectations with plenty of room for everyone and basic amenities including coffee which is nice. Only about 15 minutes away from downtown Oaxaca by taxi in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We mainly used the house to rest up after being out and about.
