"Really nice hotel, heated pools and not too far from the beach. We got the half board, plenty of options each night for dinner with different themes. Food was good but some things could be a little better if I were to be picky, like the fries were not really crispy, some potatoes were undercooked. We had the ocean view room which was worth the extra. I liked the evening music. I don’t like loud cheesy entertainment so I enjoyed the chill vibe of the place with simple low key music in the evenings, the violin player one night and on another night the jazz saxophone player were good. It’s a very relaxing environment with also an adult only pool area. I did feel that sometimes the pool music was very loud but found a more secluded place to read. I guess being a non smoker I would prefer that certain areas were non smoker, unless there were and I didn’t see them. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. "

"Very relaxing and beautiful hotel. Had such a wonderful stay here. Property was clean and staff were so friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much of an ask for us. The concierge staff helped booked excursions, grab taxis and always did things with a smile on their face. Olivier at reception was so funny and always made us laugh and feel at home, he was one of our favourite people, thank you so much for making our stay so special. Bar staff were lovely too, and the cocktails they made a great! Best cosmo I’ve had in a long time. Breakfast was a HUGE range. Fresh pancakes made for you, big buffet to choose from. All round brill experience. We stayed in a villa with a hydro tub. Beautiful views and the villa was gorgeous. Housekeeping kept the place very clean and room service was prompt. I’d really recommend this place as a relaxing place to stay, and if you want a bit of peace then you would be good to book here. If you want to be in the action, there are closer hotels by the beach, but we didn’t mind waking the 5 -10 mins it takes to walk down. Taxis are cheap too if you want to go further afield "

"Great hotel, walking distance to beach and restaurants but not too close so it's very quiet. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Level experience was great, with snacks and drinks available all day and a more quiet swimming pool area"

"Bahia was excellent in all respects. If I have to give one feedback to the hotel that would be about its cats. I didn’t like the idea of freely roaming cats esp in dining areas and in the breakfast area. It doesn’t bode well esp as the rest of hotel is so hygienic. "

"Barceló team members were outstanding and provided great service. Breakfast and dinner buffets consistently showed a very good quality. Room air conditioner only able to keep the room at about 75 degrees F (24 C) and bathroom/ room ventilation didn’t work very well at all, but balcony was outstanding and was able to sleep cool enough with balcony slider open all night once the sun went down."
