"The good: 1. Owner and cook are nice people. 2. Good view from the room. The bad: 1. You are at the mercy of the staff as this is a remote place. 2. They charged a lot for a very basic breakfast, almost 5 times what you would get outside for better food. 3. No air conditioning and dirty rooms. There was a dead frog in our bathroom. Dust bin was very dirty. 4. The view was blocked by trees. 5. No telephone or credit card in this hotel. They want only cash. There are other properties nearby...

"Hard to be critical as the Hotel is 'under new Management' as of November 2018 and understandably there will be some teething problems. The potential for the place is massive. A lovely building with a (potentially) very nice garden, river view, games room/lounge/bar area, and a location on the outskirts of the centre of town allowing easy access to the sights.
