"We had a wonderful stay in Casa Trentalina. The best part was the outside space with bbq, pizza oven and very comfortable seating, all with an amazing view of Brezzo di Bedero and the lake. The kitchen was fully equipped and all fixtures and furniture were of a high standard. It is a great base to explore the area."

"Wir haben die Tage im Rustico von Valentina sehr genossen. Der Willkommensgruss auf dem Küchentisch mit einer Schale voller Früchte hat uns sehr gefreut. Das Rustico ist sauber, zweckmässig eingerichtet und man kann die warmen Abende in der gemütlichen Laube am Grill geniessen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und bietet mehr als genug Geschirr. "Pro's and cons: Pro's first: good location, a short drive from Luino, a good sized lakeside town. You can take ferries from Luino all round the lake, including to the Borromean islands. You'll have to spend some time aquainting yourself with the ferry timetable and a map of the lake. Nothing much goes on in Dumenza itself. There's a small supermarket that we didn't actually have to use, as we shopped out and about in the bigger towns. There is somewhere to get a coffee in the morning if you...

"This place was great. The manager helped us out on all aspects she is a 5 star host. She really went out of her way to help out. Apartment is super clean, had a chance to workout in the gym and run down and get an expresso in the morning. I highly recommend this place to anyone, it was great. "
