"This little apartment was wonderful - cozy, clean and well-appointed with everything you could want or need and spacious enough to really spread out. By American standards the bathrooms are great and there was a king-sized bed! We really appreciated being able to do some laundry. The town of Silvermines is very quiet (only one pub that doesn't serve food, but is a hoot - my husband had a great time chatting with people). "The Dairy cottage was a perfect location for us, a 1.5 hr drive to all the destinations we wanted to see while there in Ireland! The hosts were very kind and willing to go the extra mile. We suggest going into town to the local pub for a pint…. Owner very nice and welcoming!"

"We chose this cottage in the country to experience the local towns, people, the food, & history. We rented a car & used the cottage as base. Each day we drove to a different castle or locale.Even the Cliffs of Moher was a day trip. Roscrea village was close for groceries. Denise & Joe were very friendly, helpful, kind, & wonderful hosts. Loved all the decor, books, location & Denise’s Irish soda bread was YUMMY! Highly recommend. Debbi & Perry"

"Just Beautiful!! Inside and out! I loved staying there. Watching the cows being moved from one pasture to another. I hosted a Birthday. lunch for a few of my cousins . So much room. It was fabulous. I saw Jeanette at a near by restaurant . Was so glad I could tell her how happy we all were with her beautiful home!☘️"

"We had an amazing time at the cottage. Located close to Leap Castle and Birr Castle so there is tons to do. The drives to either are about 4-10 min. The welcome party are 3 sweet dogs who my nephew got to explore with. He was excited to be sharing a wall with a working cattle farm and seeing the cows. The house was clean and new. Off the main road and tucked away so you enjoy the quiet and ✨ stars . Will definitely be calling again in a few years for next trip!!!!"

"From the minute we stepped foot into this property, we felt at home. We were met with sparkling clean accommodations, breathtaking views, a bowl of fruit on the table, and coffee and teabags in the counter! The rooms were all comfortable and attractive, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, towels, tea pots, coffee press, sugar, spices, etc. We had a wonderful holiday at Shannon View, and recommend it highly!
