"By far the oldest house we have slept in. The owners did an excellent job making it comfortable and charming. We loved that the host went through the house with us upon arrival and gave us an orientation. He even picked apples and pears from the yard and put them in a basket for us on the cozy table. The house is quite large with lots of sitting areas, a nice fireplace and cozy beds. We loved the town Adare and highly recommended this stay"

"This was a great home base for us to explore county Kerry! We did day trips to Dingle/Slea Head drive and Ring of Kerry including Skellig Michael. All amenities (gas/groceries) were only 5-10 minutes away. Our group of 10 had more than enough space. Only regret is not planning to spend more time at the house - the younger kids loved playing soccer and watching the cows! "

"Due to a family bereavement they were unable to offer breakfast, but we had not booked breakfast anyway. Although we were there in late August the town was incredibly quiet. Most food and drink places were closed for the duration of our 3 night stay, for breakfast or dinner. But McMunns were open on our last night and we got a good dinner there."

"Absolutely stunning house, everything was perfect ! Closely located to the Woodland place hotel which has a fab restaurant . We will definitely be back. Angela was so easy to deal with and left us a very thoughtful breakfast , some fab bread and Orange juice and eggs, what a lovely touch . "
