"Had a great week at the abbey court hotel. rooms were spacious and clean. Great atmosphere throughout the hotel. Breakfast was great and also had a couple of dinners in the restaurant which were fantastic too. Staff very helpful. Would definitely be back"

"The car park had very good electric charging at a range of speeds. Parking for hotel guests was in competition with the large conference suite and the leisure club; once conference-goers left there was more space. The room was nice and leisure suite was good. Food was excellent though the hotel ignored my attempts to book a table for dinner until the day of our arrival (I used the messaging process and the form on their own website) and the bar table was not really to our liking (noisy surroundings due to lots of hard surfaces). However staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Breakfast in the restaurant was good; good food and attentive staff."

"Outstanding home with a beautiful view of the Rock. Home owners are truly amazing people. They went way above and beyond to assist with some things we wanted...such as finding a gym we could use for the week, horse trekking, and farms to visit. We had one small issue where the well water tripped out and the owner was there in minutes to get it reset and rolling again. Maire took time to come meet us prior to leaving for back home. If I ever go back to Ireland, this will be the place I rent again. Thank you again for everything. Cahel is the right size small town to explore and relax. Most other towns are within reasonable driving distance for your day trips. The welcome basket and goodies was a wonderful addition and great to have after a long trek from Arkansas."

Castle Oaks House Hotel

"The hotel is situated on extensive grounds with a walk down to the Shannon river. Great pool - longer than most hotel pools. The interior of the hotel is rather old fashioned and could do with some refurbishment. My room was large and comfortable. It is about a fifteen minute drive to Limerick city centre although there is a train station nearby."

"truly amazing property. quiet, beautiful country but also only a short drive to several towns. the home has everything you need and more. we especially liked that the location allows you to drive to so many different towns and historic sites within an hour or so. even if you wanted to go to big city dublin its an easy train or a two hour drive - which we did as a day trip. tom and tina are lovely hosts and definitely go above to ensure you are well taken care of and have all the ireland travel insights you need. have tom tell you the bird and the cow joke we look forward to coming back next year!"
