"Wonderfully nostalgic little camp! Felt like taking a step back in time to my childhood! Absolutely beautiful private wooded area with beach frontage and stunning view of the Pond. We were able to kayak and canoe to our hearts content and my boys were up daily before dawn, fishing. What an amazing experience to hear the call of loons and watch the eagles soaring overhead with one even landing in a tree right above where we were sitting on the beach! The owner is a wonderful host who checked in to make sure we had everything we needed! If I could give more than 5 stars I would gladly do so! Hoping to make a stay at this camp a new family tradition in the future!"

"We booked this stay for a weekend away to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We like to be away from people and neighbors and it is so rare to find a place that actually fits the bill in that regard. This place delivered. The drive up to the house is a long gravel road with wildflowers, tall trees, and brooks. When you get to the top, the view is one of the best I've ever experienced. It feels like you've hiked to the top of a mountain, but you are actually standing next to a house that has a fantastic kitchen, cozy couches, and a perfect master bedroom. The living area, sun room, and master bedroom have views of nothing but mountains, trees, and sky for miles. While we spent one day hiking and splashing around in the pond, the rest of our time was spent reading, napping, and taking in the views. Our only regret was not bringing binoculars. The light on the mountains throughout the day changes the view by the hour. Joe was helpful and responsive leading up to and during the trip. As we were leaving we were already planning when we could find time to come back and see the views in the fall and winter."

"Overall larger than expected, otherwise exactly as advertised. Had everything we needed. Host very responsive and kind. Easy short walk to community lake areas. Dog friendly which was fine for us, but definitely evidence of dog (hair etc). Would rent again!"
