"Our stay at The Kayon Jungle Resort was nothing short of transcendent. Words struggle to do justice to an experience that must truly be lived. The hospitality here is extraordinary, orchestrated with impeccable grace by Front Office Resort Manager Mr. Gusti, whose leadership clearly sets the tone for a team that communicates with remarkable attentiveness about every guest’s preferences and experiences. Our primary butler Ms. Windy anticipated needs before we voiced them, while Ms. Augustini, our experiences butler, curated every moment with exquisite care and warmth. Their attention to detail is a masterclass in hospitality that many in the industry would do well to study. The highlights were unforgettable; a romantic couples spa, a breathtaking candlelit dinner at the chapel, and a magical birthday evening by the infinity pool where an acoustic group serenaded us with classic love songs. Our travel assistant Nova, on a day tour thoughtfully arranged by Manager Luis, introduced us to temples, a coffee plantation, and a traditional Balinese home, a cultural immersion that enriched the entire stay. If there were ever a place where a husband could earn lifelong brownie points, this is it. My wife declared this her most memorable birthday ever. Quite simply, the best gift a man can give his woman is the Kayon Jungle Resort experience."

"We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon while it was in its soft opening phase. To be fair, since it’s a new property, the room quality and facilities were clean and brand new. The staff initially seemed friendly. However, our experience was completely ruined by their utter lack of professionalism during and after checkout. We had a massage at the hotel and specifically requested to "post to room" to pay during checkout. When we checked out, we paid for our room service and explicitly asked the front desk, "Is everything settled? Are we good to go?" They confirmed that everything was paid for and told us we were clear to leave. Here is where the nightmare started: 1. Harassment on the way to the airport: While heading to the airport, the hotel contacted us claiming they "forgot" to charge us for the massage. 2. Security Risk: They asked for my credit card information over the phone. Even after providing it, they claimed the payment failed and started demanding an e-transfer. 3. Constant Nagging: Ever since then, the management has been hounding me via WhatsApp and email, constantly asking me to do this and that to fix their mistake. This is clearly an issue caused by the unprofessionalism of the front desk staff, not the guest. Instead of taking responsibility for their error, they have been incredibly annoying and have repeatedly ruined my post-vacation mood. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. If you want a stress-free honeymoon, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere."

"Other than the beauty of the villas it was the little things: 1. Front desk staff took time to research questions they didn’t immediately had an answer to. 2. Staff noticed my mosquito bites on check in so included repellant with my turn down service the next day. 3. Never had I had my feet washed as a welcome. 4. Restaurant staff new our preferences after only one meal. 5. Staff apologized to me when it was my fault I missed a class/activity. There’s more but, go experience it yourself. "

"This stay was magical. The private pool felt very luxurious and the bed was comfortable. The host gave us his WhatsApp, which we used to order food and spa treatments as well as any repairs needed to the room. He always responded immediately. They seemed very invested in giving us a comfortable stay. Note that the hotel is close to a main road, so there was some traffic noise, but nothing major. Also, our big tub didn't fill up so we couldn't take a bath. But we weren't too bothered because we were so busy with all the fabulous spa treatments. The massage therapists were very skilled and kind. While the food at the villa itself wasn't great, there were very good restaurants within walking distance. Overall, we loved our stay!"

"This resort is somewhat misleading as the grounds are GORGEOUS but the hotel needs some serious work in terms of food, provisions and accessibility. Bagus Jati is not at all walkable. You need to take a buggy from your room to the restaurant, spa, lobby, etc.. The food was also not good at all, we ate lunch and breakfast (buffet) one time each and were not happy with the quality. As the resort is VERY remote it is not possible to order food so I would expect a better food and beverage program. The staff and spa were definitely the highlights, I had a massage/ facial and hair treatment that were all amazing! The pool is also beautiful but not heated and very cold. I would also have appreciated a bar/ restaurant near the pool as the only restaurant onsite is very far! I felt dehydrated during most of my stay. Also something to keep in mind this resort is about an hour to an hour and a half from Ubud and getting transportation was very difficult and not possible at times other than expensive transport provided by the hotel. Looking for a very remote escape than this could be the place for you but I would recommend to stay closer to Ubud for ease of transport and accommodations. "

"This place was really nice, very friendly.. I do want if you choose the villa, the bathroom is somewhat outside. So if you’re scared of lizards, frogs & other type of bugs coming in, book a room inside.. Overall very nice place to stay. Will be booking again!"

"Excellent place for families to stay in. The staff are very polite and are just a call away. The pool has cold water depending on the day, however is good. Great breakfast option to include with accommodation. "
