Daniela the owner is also bilingual and very helpful. You really need a rental car as the house is in a residential area and buses are a 25 minutes walk. You could also use a local driver. We did ,Alberto charged us 120 pesos per hour and drove us anywhere we wanted, we visited Merida, Progreso and the costal area. I highly recommend this...
