"This is lovely and spacious home right on the lake. Plenty of room and a kitchen fully stocked. Rob, our gracious, helpful and ever-available host, even provided milk and butter for us. Perfect base from which to explore the greater Rotorua area. Truly Serenity on the Lake. "

"No cooktop, no freezer compartment to keep ice blocks cold. No top sheet on either single bed, light over bathroom sink does not work, windows were filthy inside and out, floor between toilet and wall was dirty, no hand towel or face cloth provided. Only wine glasses provided for drinks. Only one mirror in unit, none in bedrooms. We can’t believe this place meets even minimum standards for guest accommodations. Only one tea towel provided, hot plate had no instructions and only Chinese labels...

"This gorgeous cottage is filled with style, charm and attention to detail. So many extras such as family games, toys for little ones and the seperate kitchen was very well appointed and even had things like spices, eco friendly baking paper and glad wrap etc, which was so handy! Roomy outdoor deck with heaps of seating and the big garden area was a bonus. We loved our stay and highly recommend! Bev and Richard"

"Wanted to stay longer at this bach. Everything is great about this place. Well stocked with all cooking, sleeping and recreational needs. Neighbouring bach’s all great and locals very helpful with hints on local places to visit."

"Neighbouring properties made us very nervous to start with. No issues though and enjoyed our stay. Made the booking through a different website. Charged us for an extra night. Tried to communicate prior to check in. No luck and no reply. Overall experience very disappointing. Scared to use Bookabach or Bachcare again."
