"We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. "We had a very relaxing stay at Casa Sira, which is a beautifully restored traditional house with all the modern comforts. The house is well equipped, and tastefully furnished with everything you need, comfortable beds and wi-fi / Tv etc. It is set in the mountains with stunning scenery all around. "Zeer stijlvol ingericht huis. Ruim, schoon en alles wat aanwezig voor een fijne vakantie. Fijne houtkachel met voldoende hout die het hele huis verwarmd en veel sfeer brengt. Uitstekend werkende Wifi. Veel ruimte, goede bedden en ruim voldoende sanitair. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf het terras. Communicatie met de host zeer vriendelijk en goed. Kortom een aanrader."

"Our stay was organised for the benefit to compete in the Sella descent kayak race. The accommodation is located in an ideal position, not too far away from the start of the race in Arriondas. Communication with Linda was excellent, and we will definitely be looking to stay again next year if we compete again the kayak race. Accommodation is delightful, clean and had everything we needed."

"This is a great property. The location is ideal. It’s close to everything in Ribedesella and still quiet. We were very comfortable here.(2 parents and 2 teenage children) I wish we would have stayed longer. We enjoyed the town and some of the adventures near by in Covadonga and Arriondes. "Andoni is a brilliant host - communicating mainly by WhatsApp and replying very quickly to all queries. Great place for exploring the Picos and North coast beaches. The surrounding area is very picturesque and quiet. Arriondas is close by for shopping and Canis de Onga is a lovely town with lots to do and swimming in the river to cool off!"
