"We stayed here for one night last minute for a half marathon. I was surprised at how spacious the place was! Clean and quiet. They even left 2 water bottles and snacks for us. Didn't interact with front desk in person due to arriving after hours but they called and gave detailed instructions on how to access our room. Would stay again. "

He stopped and talked to me, asked if I was happy with my stay and wanted to know if he could do anything to make it better. "We were so happy at Trout Retreat for our long weekend away from home. The cabin was just the right amount of space for the 2 of us and our 2 little dogs. The cabin was very well appointed… we cooked all our meals and except for packing our 2 good knives and a meat free cutting board, we found everything we needed. We used the hot tub several times a day, enjoyed the ambience of the electric fireplace, found the smart tv too smart for us. We slept well listening to Elk Creek, and spent hours...

"This was an absolutely a gorgeous place to stay. All facilities are new and in great condition. Secluded and restful. We found it to be just right from activities and shopping. We would really like to consider for a summer stay. The creek and outdoors would be would be great for a family. Pet friendly was a plus for us too. I highly recommend this house!!!!! We had no issues."
