"Loved staying here, it felt like a posh youth hostel, we never had to wait to use the bathroom and while it was basic, everything was clean and comfortable. Lovely location, breakfast was in a hotel run by the same people in the town which was a 5 min walk away but not a problem at all, the breakfast itself was great (lots of vegan options) and the staff were so friendly. Gripsholms Värdshus

Gripsholms Värdshus

8/10 Good
"The hotel itself is really great. No costs saved to make a delightful interior. The staff is welcoming and very helpful, really nice to us guests! Top marks so far, but then we had dinner at the restaurant and became disappointed. Quality of food did not reach the standards set by the hotel interior and staff. The quality of the dishes served did not reach the expectations or leveled the prices of the menu. Basically not good enough. Find somewhere else to eat!"
