"Stayed here over the Easter long weekend, at very late notice (booked on Friday night for Saturday arrival). The owner had left easter eggs for my three sons which was a lovely touch. The house itself is beautiful; it looks to be only recently built so I would say we were one of the first groups to rent it. It had everything we needed and was only a couple of minutes walk from the beach. I would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back here again in the future."

"From the time we booked through our entire stay we were taken care of by Liz who made our stay awesome. The house was great in the rural setting we were looking for with a restaurant/pub just down the driveway. If we had any questions she responded quickly and helped us. I would highly recommend staying here and enjoying the historic building. We left after a month and said good bye to a new friend. Blessed!"

"This was the most beautiful place we stayed while in Ireland! The house was super clean and everything we could possibly need was available. It really was exactly as described. Perfectly positioned to walk down to town and do some exploring."

"There was a hidden utility fee of 10 Euros per day. Other than that, the house was large with four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Dishwasher was missing wheels and racks were bent. Supplies were minimal in kitchen."

Modern & stylish in tranquil setting

"We enjoyed a really lovely short break in Sligo recently with the excellent Castle Dargan as a base. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Everyone greeted us warmly and were attentive without being intrusive. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable bedding and large bathroom, although the toilet bowl was situated very tight to a wall. We enjoyed a tasty lunch overlooking the scenic golf course. Breakfast offered a good choice and again was top class. We will definitely return to this gem of a hotel."
