"Unsmiling, disinterested desk staff. Scruffy room -bathroom door that wouldn’t close, damaged curtains, no bedside table on one side of the bed and chipped old furniture. Too tatty."

"The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. The food and drink is excellent and not overly expensive. Try to get a front side room as the view in the morning is so relaxing to look over the marina. The location is perfect for all the local restaurants."

"The room was very clean, perfect for the type of stay I needed. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was the real let down for me unfortunately. There wasn’t a huge vegetarian/ vegan option. It’s a buffet style so most of the foods were quite cold even though should have been served hot. Overall I definitely don’t think the breakfast was good value for money."
