"We were so pleased to find a rental located in the quaint village of Corniglia. The place was clean and the terrace on the rooftop had breathtaking views of the coastline. We did not receive check in instructions until the day of arrival so we would have preferred communication in advance. The showers are quite small and there are steps to manage with your luggage but we managed without any difficulty. We were overall very pleased with the rental and would visit again."

"Excellent instructions for easy check-in. First impression - "This place is beautiful". Looking over the main square and out to the sea, it is literally the center of the action --- but after 10:00 pm., you could hear only the surf, as a cat walks across the square. By noon, there are more people in Vernazza than there are in Times Square -- get out of town and go for a hike. Great restaurants nearby."

"During our stay in La Spezia, we did not have a rental car, which meant that for us, the walk to go downtown took about 30 minutes or more which we were not aware of. If you have a car to use, then it's a close drive! Just be aware if you are walking, it's a far walk to downtown and it's a LOT of uphill walking."

We had some very minor issues getting in initially which were largely our own fault, but I mention it because our contact was super helpful and responsive in getting us in. "We had a wonderful week with our 2 children here. The house has a fantastic view of the sea and is located on a quiet private road so it felt very safe and secluded. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the terrace was a great place for meals with a view. The local towns of Lavagne and Sestri Levante provided plenty of shops and restaurants and we were able to do a boat trip to Portofino and a day trip to Lucca in Tuscany. Highly recommended.
