"Very welcoming and pleasant staff. Hotel is the heart of downtown and spread across three different buildings, all overlooking Lake Dora. Downtown Tavares is small but very fun, and activity on the lake can be enjoyed from your balcony. If you're traveling to Tavares, by far your best option."

May 25, 2020A couple boutiques or galleries would be sweet. Nearby Mount Dora satisfies that need although a few stores who have opened back up wouldn’t let us in w/o masks. We know the truth in #’s of Covid victims and truth of respiratory damage. We get it!

Feb 24, 2020Greatly improved since we started coming here almost 20 years ago. The waterfront is spectacular. It would be nice if money was available to home owners adjacent to this area to be used to clean up their yards, or "freshen" up the exterior.
