"Interesting to stay in an authentic Soviet hotel. The rooms and hotel have retained the architecture even if it feels outdated. The room was large with lots of oak furniture but could be cleaner. They had ran out of hot water in the evenings. The breakfast was adequate. There should be more tables to cater to lots of guests. The restaurant on the top floor is good and very well priced. There is a bar there too. There are windows overlooking the city and a perfect sunset view."

"Not 5 star luxury standard, just due to showing it's age. Has the grandeur of 5 star in lobby. Staff were helpful enough, did have issues with room power cut and issues with registration as a tourist but were dealt with by staff."

"We stayed for only a couple of nights, but had a very pleasant experience. The breakfast was especially worth mentioning, with delicious cooked dishes and a wide variety of options to suit every taste. We also booked a one-hour private spa session and enjoyed both the sauna and the pool."
