It's a disgusting, dirty, full of fleas that didn't let my family sleep at all. And they don't care. Expedia shouldn't not work with this hotel. The breakfast is terrible too. It's hard to get there and move around the town even worst. I'm so disgusted by this hotel!!! Fleas!!!

Regular. Priorizar la piscina para los hospedantes

Se encuentra alejado del centro lo que lo hace más cómodo. Cuando se ingreso se sentida que se estaba en la selva pero. Nos indicaron que el uso de piscina es para cualquier persona ajena a la estadís lo que hizo que la piscina esté REPELTA POR OTRAS PERSONAS. NO HABIA LUGAR SONDE SENTARSE

My three year old got bitten ( I found flies in my clothing ) after I left this hotel...We asked for 4 beds (one of the mattres had a whole that sinked!)..When I booked the hotel it showed air conditioning in the rooms ...big ,huge lie! ,,,No shampoo in the shower....The bedding sheets were nasty and smelly ....No blankets at all...( it gets cold in the morning)..The food in the restaurant was okay , but we had to wait almost 2 hours to get our food ! my children were tiresd and sleepy....plus they brought the wrong plate...we asked for tacacho and they brought french frites! DO NOT GO to this hotel. It is expensive and nasty...

No me gusto en general.

El personal es amable, el desayuno es riquísimo, lo que no me gusto fue la habitación matrimonial, la cama estaba dura y vieja no pude dormir bien, la habitación es demasiado pequeña, no existen ventanas de vidrio y los mosquitos entran a la habitación, aparte el baño tenia un olor fuerte, no volvería al lugar por ese precio podría encontrar otros hoteles mas confortables.

Una decepción de Hotel, Malo en Todo

Mi reserva estaba prevista desde el viernes 22 hasta el domingo 24 de septiembre, pero tuve que retirarme el sábado por la tarde porque los servicios eran muy malos. Las divisiones entre cuarto es de una lámina de madera tan delgada que se escucha hasta las cosas personales que hacen los huéspedes de habitaciones continuas, a pesar que pedí cambio de habitación porque el ruido era insoportable ... no logré descansar y dormir cómodamente (objetivo de mi estadía), la puerta del baño tenía malograda la chapa, es decir no cerraba, no me duche porque del desaguadero de la ducha salía un olor hediondo; las sabanas no son blancas y son de la peor calidad que puedan imaginarse que te da escozor la piel. Solicité una computadora y no había, me quisieron dar una laptop pero no había señal de internet y el wifi tampoco funciona. El restaurante está debajo de habitaciones y cuando caminan las personas se escucha el crujir de las tablas y hasta puede que te salpique las arenillas que caen por las pisadas, por ultimo ni comer tranquila, porque prácticamente al lado de tu mesa está el gimnasio y ves el sudor de otras personas mientras tomas desayuno. La dueña es una persona que ni siquiera te da una sonrisa cuando llegas, el dueño es al menos mas amical. En conclusión no se arriesguen a pasar un fin de semana en este lugar porque en vez de descansar les causará dolor de cabeza

Limpio de buen servicio, excelente vista.

La vista desde el hotel hacia el paisaje natural, sobre todo catleya, clave, son las mejores. Un poco de ruido del cuarto vecino, pero que el confort, el servicio, la piscina, la comida, lo cercano al centro de la ciudad lo paga.

I was expecting more for the price...

The hotel is not so close to the main square, tours are found cheaper on any agency if you walk out the hotel. our bathroom door was not closing, the simple lock, there is no AC, there is only one fan, the view out from the balcony is not so appealing to lay down and stay there. They don't include the return to the airport, only the pick up. I would say it's only an OK hotel.

Nice base for ecotourism and relaxing by the pool

Most of the other tourists in Tarapoto were Peruvian, but this should be a more popular spots for single people or families from other countries, as well. Hotel staff were very helpful, patient with our limited Spanish, and having the restaurant available for lunch and dinner as needed added to the relaxation. Standard Peruvian meals, but with good variety and quality, and cheap. Definitely recommend.

Hotel un poco alejado pero ruidoso

Solo lo usabamos para dormir, y de noche hace mucho ruido, sobre todo los jovenes de habitaciones vecinas, por ser de madera se escucha todo, por las tardes aun seguian construyendo habitaciones y no se podia descansar bine. La piscina limpia pero tienen que mejorarla un poco, necesita refacciones. lo bueno que es fresco sin necesidad de aire acondicionado.

Tarapoto retreat

If your looking for a rustic lodge while staying in tarapoto, the Madera Labrada Lodge is the place. It's nestled on the outside of the city with views of the jungle. It's very quiet (once the pool area shuts down) and the staff help you feel very comfortable and welcomed. Would definitely stay here again.
