"I booked the room a few hours before arrival. I drive hours only to find the host needs to be contacted 24hrs before check in. This was not possible given when the room was booked. Essentially I was robbed by this property and expedia. It should not of let me book the room if check in was never posible. "

"To be fair, I am reviewing the Akropolis Hotel because that’s where I stayed. When I got to San Andrea Degli Armeni, there was no one there, but a sign there had a phone number to call. The person said to come to the Akropolis Hotel which was just a short walk. Apparently they are sister hotels and my reservation was switched but because I booked on hotels.com they staff couldn’t reach me. No big deal, as it was close by. Once I arrived, everything was great. There were a couple minor issues...
