"The villa is spotless clean. They cleaned up the pool twice during our 1 week stay there. The location is fantastic with really great views to see the sunset. In terms of other things to be aware of: the villa next door is under construction and they did a lot of noise and dust during our stay. "Finca El Lomo is a wonderful haven of peace in a noisy world. It is situated in the heart of the island yet only a 15 minute drive from the coastal towns and beaches. The hosts Linda and Hans keep the property in immaculate condition. They are always on hand to help but unobtrusive. A hire car is essential but it is an ideal base to tour the whole island. This place is a rare gem in a world of mass tourism!"

"Villa is very big, with a separate apartment attached. Huge grounds, absolutely massive garden area, and the pool area is really well maintained and laid out. Tennis courts were a great addition - provided somewhere to run around in before the heat came in the day. All the rooms were big, well maintained, and comfortable. If I came back to the island, I’d stay again. Central location so you can get everywhere pretty easily with a car."

"Does not match the description on the website, the pictures show a nice property but it wasn't, it was poorly equipped with no oven and we didn't even get to see the roof terrace. Also we had to buy our own pillows as the ones provided were useless and the bed was very uncomfortable. There was a very obnoxious German couple staying next to us for the first two weeks of our stay and the owner wasn't very helpful to say the least. Avoid at all costs especially if you are English."
