They are renovating the property. In spite of this, there was no construction noise while we were in the room. Breakfast was excellent, and the location cannot be beat, although it is a bit chaotic getting in and out of the property.

The Holiday Inn Express is a very practical (perhaps the only?) option in Tapachula. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the room and facilities are clean. There is a nice pool and the gym equipment is not shabby. Everything works, which is not always the case around here. There is a good breakfast and a good selection of restaurants on the strip mall nearby. Eurocar rents from a booth in the lobby.

This was thr worst hotel experience I've had. First, I chose this hotel because it was listed as having a gym. The gym is beat down, the treadmill was broken, and there was no other fork to do cardio. Secondly, there was no water for more that 2 hours! The hotel had the audacity to bring me buckets of water!!!! So ghetto and dirty.
