"The property is in the process of being renovated, and they were careful to keep noise and ongoing work respectfully quiet. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with a king bed, a kitchen, a dining area, and a living room area. TVs in the kitchen area and in the bedroom. The blackout curtains and the bathroom shower with rain, waterfall, multi-directional body spray, and a handheld showerhead were awesome. We would stay again."

"We had a very comfortable stay at the lodge. We didn't get to try the restaurant on the main floor of the building, but the stay was good. Pros: Comfortable beds, and sufficient bedding. Walking distance to a few restaurants and the grocery store. Cons: It's a hotel room. There's the standard coffee, and toiletries but nothing else. "The property’s location is terrible. Directly across the street is a vendor that plays music waaay too loud for 6am. The music blasted all day and competed with the coffee shop’s music. Add the go kart noise and you get a constant barrage of sound that is far from peaceful. The pond was nice and the room was just ok. Will pick a property farther away from main st next time."

The room appeared to have been recently updated and they did a great job of adding modern amenities while retaining some rustic charm. "My daughter and I arrive late on Friday, which I had emailed the property to inform them of a late arrival and asked if that would be a problem, no response. The key code that they gave me did not work! After an hour or so, help from other attendees and many messages and phone calls later we finally got into our room! The bathroom was tiny, the sink was just ridiculous, the shower was a nice size but no hot water! The ice box was frozen and had mold growing. Loved the days we spent in Red River....

"Very convenient booking and checkin, hot water, WiFi, really just needed a place to sleep after snow boarding. Awesome restaurant on first floor but not part of lodge. It would be nice if they offered specials for guests staying at lodge. Parking lot could be maintained better, with fresh layer of gravel and trash pickup. Lodge in need of renovation, but that is expected of a NM wore out ski town."

"Our stay was not great… the location of the property is phenomenal with a great sunrise view. Unfortunately everything else lacked, the walls are very thin, the electric lock does not lock well, the fire sprinklers are taped over, the refrigerators, both stunk, our towels were not clean. I’m sure there’s more I could list, the unit needed some TLC to make it a good stay. The customer service was also great!"
