"Beautiful property, staff, service. Everyone so friendly and welcoming. We only ate in the bar as the restaurant menus did not appeal - food and drink were good here but rather over-priced. Amazing views of the sea, coastline and mount Etna. Great to have a heated swimming pool, although it was closed until 10am so disappointed we couldn’t have a pre-breakfast swim. Very enjoyable stay overall. Thankyou to all the wonderful staff!"

After some less stellar hotels on a trip through Italy and an extremely long travel day, arriving here felt like a miracle between beautiful rooms with incredible views, great food at Brace, and the most welcoming team onsite. checking out was hard - we did not want to leave!!"

"We had a great time and Andrea is an excellent host. Personal breakfast choices with fresh produce on the day on the upper roof terrace was quite lovely. There are, however quite a few stairs to negotiate. If I was to return I would happily stay there again but would definitely book a balcony room, the one we were in was a little too small for our needs."

"This property should note for everybody STAIRS STAIRS STAIRS everywhere and all the time! For people who are not well-moveable absolutely unsuitable accommodation :( For others - amazing view from every room :)) Also there is problem with parking. So this property should not announce that there is parking available. It is not true for everybody. We came in winter and heating was not working, so there was very cold in a room. "

"Very nice setting, quiet area, free parking and clean rooms. Cons -The b'fast is pretty basic, i would have expected something a little bit better (although continental) -Wifi in room wasnt good. used 3G most of the time. "Overall we liked our stay but I would not gi back. There were some problems with our room electricity and we had to move from our room to another at 10pm. Which was not pleasant. I wish we got better apology or maybe some little refund/gift for a such a big inconvinience. There was also a lot of drama over breakfast portions which I thought was just silly!"

"Our room was comfortable and clean. Staff certainly helpful and pleasant. The hotel is next to a railway track so the noise of the trains can be heard from around 6am till midnight. Also the door system is quite complicated. Wifi was only available near the reception so that was frustrating. Overall it was fine."

"Very well located for car traveller (little hard to figure out old port entrance we missed it at first and had to take extra round of some km). Nice protected private parking and only 10 min walking to center. Very nice and helpful staff. A little old fashion but that is also cute. Very good and new AC. Only thing that room was not so soundproof from hallway. Nice to have swimming pool."
