The entire staff (receptionists Flavia and Antonella, waiters Mario, Mateo, and Masimo, along with the chambermaids) were exceptionally polite, friendly, and very helpful. The same applies to Pietro, the proprietor of this hotel, who continues to operate this establishment that has been in his family for generations with utmost professionalism and courtesy toward his guests. "The view from this hotel is stunning! The private beach is perfect, and the bar is amazing. Room furnishings in need of update but everything else was great. Wonderful service and enjoyed very much the vintage Godfather Tour that the hotel arranged. Close walk to Isola Bella. Wonderful place to relax and to end our tour of Italy. "

"After rough day driving we were tired when we arrived. The place looked dated and we dragged our luggage down the stairs (Found the elevator later.). BUT, as our four day stay went on we came to enjoy the quirky ‘old world’ 1908 atmosphere. It became the BEST place we stayed in Sicily. Attentive staff at breakfast and at the bar in the evening. Rooms made up immaculately. "
