"Our family decided to spend a few nights as part of our family vacation at this wonderful cottage as an excellent change from staying in hotels. We are a family of 4 with grown children. The bedrooms and bathroom accommodations are perfect for a family with extra space for larger families if needed. The cottage is a picture of tranquility with amazing views and quiet. "Very clean 2 story gîte in the French alps. Perfect placement to visit all in this area. Home on 2 floors and is very clean and neat. Host very welcoming. Only 2 little niggles were the absence of a typical oven despite description. There was a microwave with a timed grill but no thermostat or usual oven which made self cooking more of a challenge. Good hob. Also wifi good but only available in hallway really- a cheap 15 euro wifi extender would have sorted this. The town is on a flat plain with...

"It is announced as a cottage with a pool , but When I arrived I found out it is a tiny apartment sharing small pool with another 5 apartments. I didnot stay and left the place after I make it clear to the owner and VRBO that was not the deal. Until this moment, VRBO and the owner refuses to refund despite it is clear misinformation from both side."

"We could not have asked for a more perfect location - literally across the street from the Midi lift and in the center of shops, restaurants, etc. The flat is cozy - would not recommend for more than 3 persons, but it is outfitted with everything needed for a very comfortable vacation. The views are absolutely stunning and we loved having coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening on the small terrace looking straight at the mountain peaks."

"Great, centrally located, property . Ideal for families or a couple on holiday. Ceiling height in 2 of the rooms is restricted due to the roof line so not great for adults and they are a bit small too but they would be fine for children. The best supermarket in Cham is only 50m away and so are all the best restaurants and bars. Had a really nice stay. "

"Close to everything, easy walk to train station and train for ice caves in Montenvers. Parking is tight but fine. Apartment had everything we needed and grocery stores are nearby. Mont Blanc and Chamonix are beautiful. Don’t miss the Aiguille du Midi. Wear hiking boots and bring poles. We were on an extended trip and couldn’t fit these in our bags. Lots of good hikes but slopes are rocky and gravelly. Would recommend highly."

"Perfect location. Right outside the boarder of France and Switzerland. 30 second walk to the trams which takes you into Geneva Lake town in 10 minutes or smaller town a few stops away. Tram on the opposite side also takes you into France. Restaurants all around within 30 seconds or few mins walk. Property has a fridge and cooking equipment if you want a cheaper night in. "Our family of 4 loved our stay in the quaint Les Balcons du Savoy! Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The view of the surrounding Alps is spectacular! The property is an easy walk to the main street of Chamonix (lots of restaurants and shopping) as well as a short bus ride to the gondola for skiing. Thank you for a fabulous stay!"
