The property was a renovated courthouse with beautiful historic architecture. The rooms were nicely renovated, and it was walking distance to our destination. The front desk staff was very nice and anticipated all my needs.

We were a little disappointed in this hotel. We thought it would be more historic, but instead while it is in a super neat old courthouse, it is just a standard modern, corporate feeling Marriott property. There is no way to make coffee in your room, the room is very basic. It felt more like a lower grade Marriott like a Courtyard, Sprinhill, etc. The staff was fine and nice. The location is wonderful for the Riverwalk, and enjoying beautiful downtown Tampa. They just need to either position this hotel as a standard Marriott or try harder to make it a classier hotel.

Very unique hotel loaded with character and charm. Hotel was very nice and clean too in a convenient downtown location. Staff was friendly, restaurant on site was excellent as well... no complaints from me. Great place.
