The property is beautiful, Tomas is incredibly helpful and passionate, comfy bed, nice pools, yummy breakfast (bread/ jellies, coffee/tea, juice, fresh fruits, eggs) & close to beaches and Bioluminescent tour in secluded area so plenty of nature to enjoy. The entrance sidewalk is steep so wear hiking/tennis shoes not sandals/ heels, Tomas did offer to help us bring our bags up which was nice but just be aware it may not be accessible for everybody. There is no in room coffee maker (provided at...

Tambor Tropical is an exceptionally well cared for property. We were well taken care of by very friendly and attentive staff. The hotel is a great place for a quiet and peaceful getaway. This isn't a comment towards the hotel, but we felt important for visitors to know that the beach isn't a great swimming beach. It is great for sunrises, long walks, and not sharing it with many other people.

Loved every moment. Plenty of activities. Drinks and excursions were quite inexpensive relative to our expectations. Folks from so many different parts of the world appear to stay here. Food was delicious. People were incredibly nice. The pool (with pool bar), waterfall, and lookout are all must-try items. The grounds are also quite extensive and nice to walk. Monkeys, large iguanas, and unique birds frequent the hotel grounds. Easily the best vacation I've ever had.

We used the hotel bus from San Jose, comfortable and excellent service. Reception staff Gonzalo & Alex outstanding. Very pls with the staff in the restaurants and with the cleanness regardless we stayed on a long week end with lots of people. The food was very good as well as the maintenance and cleanness of the room. The gardens beautiful ! The beach, if you walk a few yards to the left you can find a lovely beach with lots of vegetation nearby.

I first stayed here 19 years ago for my sister’s wedding. The property has expanded a bit, to include an onsite restaurant, which is very good and breakfast and one dinner entree are included. The fresh and a decent variety. Typical spices in a dish have a distinctly Costa Rican twist. The entire staff is helpful, attentive and courteous. The grounds are well maintained but still keep the jungle authenticity..just as it was years ago. The area around the property is amazingly beautiful. An...

Nya is a beautiful property with wildlife all around. I was able to watch a family if howler monkeys from the hammock outside my room. They left me a yummy dessert daily in my room they put in while I was out. The free breakfast menu had a variety of options including vegetarian. Property is town so walkable and beach is right across flyer road from the property. Got the best massage there as well.

Very clean, beautiful with great view. Good for people with car or are able to walk up and down hill to the town.

Clean comfy place literally 2 min walk from the beach and main little strip with shops and restaurants. Amazingly helpful and Honest staff! I left my $200 earbuds behind, and the manager Gabriel went out of his way to package and mail it to my home in California! Pura Vida

Everything was wonderful. Irene was amazing and made our stay great.

Room was spotless. Check-in was amazing. The Receptionist gave me a promotional discount and even offered to carry my backpack to room. The restaurant is excellent and they serve exotic yummy cocktails

Nice place with an awesome view of the ocean. Beautiful, yummy breakfast was well worth the extra cost. Very friendly and helpful staff. Right next to the center of town, but still private, safe and relatively quiet with big trees great for viewing wildlife. Nice, clean comfortable room with ceiling fan. Shared bathroom and shower were unexpected but likely because I just didn't notice it in the description of the room.

Great breakfast. Great staff. Peaceful, beautiful views.

Playa Los Vivos - wow. Such a special experience. The staff were incredible, especially William. They arranged everything and made sure we had an awesome time.

The property was immaculate in the staff very friendly

The room was a great value and offered everything we needed. Given the low price point, we had budget questions that the staff were unable to help with (such as local bus schedules), but overall, they were pleasant and accommodating.

Great location looking over Tortuga Island. Beautiful settings with pool area with panoramic view. Need 4x4 to access hotel because 2 mi are on gravel and steep.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Laloon Luxury Suite, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was treated to exceptional service and luxurious amenities. The suite was spacious, stylishly decorated, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was a serene oasis with premium amenities. The hotel's attention to detail was impressive, from the fresh fruit and bottled water to the thoughtful turndown service. The location was...
