"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nya Hotel. The grounds are beautiful, and the restaurant staff is warm and welcoming, creating a cozy family atmosphere. The front desk staff is incredibly caring; when my daughter severely sunburned her hand, they promptly brought us medication. Even during rain, they kindly provided umbrellas at guests’ doors. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay. However, I found the note from the cleaning staff requesting a tip a bit unnecessary. "

"What a great location for our stay in the southern part of the Nicoya Peninsula! Easy drive to everywhere you need to get to. This home was built with much love and alot of hard work!! So many little bonuses that made our stay so great: beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, lunch containers, well-stocked kitchen (including spices and condiments), washer, outdoor hose, star fruit tree …. And of course, the POOL! Was the perfect way to cool off after our day of adventure! Rhonda was a gem of a host! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a true “home” base. Oh and we absolutely LOVED the bed! So comfortable! Thanks again Rhonda for sharing your home with us! We would definitely stay again. "

"Nice place with an awesome view of the ocean. Beautiful, yummy breakfast was well worth the extra cost. Very friendly and helpful staff. Right next to the center of town, but still private, safe and relatively quiet with big trees great for viewing wildlife. Nice, clean comfortable room with ceiling fan. Shared bathroom and shower were unexpected but likely because I just didn't notice it in the description of the room. "
