"We appreciated having a kitchenette and washing machine, however it would have been very helpful to have instructions the washer as google translate for the buttons was not sufficient to operate the machine. We couldn’t get it to dry the clothes properly. The decor was nonexistent, some artwork would really help as we felt like we were staying in a basement dorm room even though we were on the 4th floor. Windows were frosted glass which didn’t help."

"Great as a base for Kyoto. Well-equipped small flat where we managed to cook small meals. Having a washing machine was very useful and drying facilities were in the small bathroom. Check-in was in a different building, a five minute walk away, which we hadn’t appreciated till we got to the hotel. The check-in manager was very helpful. Accommodation was big enough for family of 4. The area is quiet and felt very safe. Room was very clean and amenities all supplied. "
